If your computer does not currently use 128-bit encryption,
simply follow the appropriate instructions for your browser listed below.

If you are running a 32-bit browser:
Go to Keyword "128 browser" in your AOL keyword search. AOL
will automatically take you through the browser upgrade.
Note: If you are using a version
of Microsoft Internet Explorer below version 6.01 (5.0 for Macintosh),
visit the Microsoft page to upgrade your browser. (you do not need to
upgrade your version of AOL unless you are using Windows or AOL 3.0)
If you are running a 16-bit browser, you will need to upgrade to the
32-bit version. In order to do this, verify you have the following minimum requirements:
- 100 MB of Hard Drive Space
- Pentium Processor
- 16 MB of RAM
- Windows 95 or Windows 98 operating system
If you meet these requirements:
Go to Keyword "Upgrade" in your AOL keyword search. AOL will
assist you through the upgrade. Follow the directions for 32-bit browser
128-bit upgrade.
